How to use it
- Exercise types: model then copy lines, grey letters to trace, dark-to-faint, hollow letters, or dotted letters.
- Rulings: Seyès (8, 10 or 12 mm), double line, four lines, coloured rails for young children, or single line.
- Fonts: French and US school cursive (open-licence Playwrite fonts) and Andika, designed for learning to read.
- Class mode: paste pupils’ names to get a named copy for each in one file.
Letter size is set from the font’s own measurements, so letters sit on the baseline and match the chosen zone height.
Print quality: the lines are true vector lines in the PDF, so they stay sharp on any printer at any zoom, and the file is tiny. Print at 100% (“Actual size”) so measurements stay exact to the millimetre. The file is created on your device.
Worked example
“the sun is shining” in cursive on 10 mm Seyès, three tracing lines per model, and 28 named pages for the whole class.
