How to use it
Three line weights: very fine 1 mm, medium 5 mm and bold 10 mm. The grid is whole centimetres, centred on the page. Orange is traditional; change it if you like.
Print quality: the lines are true vector lines in the PDF, so they stay sharp on any printer at any zoom, and the file is tiny. Print at 100% (“Actual size”) so measurements stay exact to the millimetre. The file is created on your device.
Worked example
On A4 with 10 mm margins: a full 19 × 27 cm grid.

Are the measurements really exact?
Yes in the file — just print at 100% without “Fit to page”.
Why orange?
It is the traditional colour: clear without overpowering your drawing. Blue or green work too.
Can I use A5 or US Letter?
Yes — A4, A5, A3, Letter and Legal, portrait or landscape, with as many pages as you need.
