How to use it

Each writing line has three equal zones: the darker middle zone for short letters (a, c, e, o…), lighter zones for ascenders and descenders, then a white gap so letters on neighbouring lines do not touch. A red margin on the left and a dotted line on the right mark the end of the line.

Print quality: the lines are true vector lines in the PDF, so they stay sharp on any printer at any zoom, and the file is tiny. Print at 100% (“Actual size”) so measurements stay exact to the millimetre. The file is created on your device.

Worked example

3 mm zones: 9 mm of writing zones plus a 3 mm gap — one line every 12 mm.
