How to use it
The list is shuffled with the Fisher–Yates algorithm using the browser’s cryptographic random generator, so every name has exactly the same chance.
- Several winners: no one wins twice in the same draw.
- Duplicates: if allowed, a name entered twice gets two chances.
- Teams: names are shuffled then dealt in turn, so team sizes differ by at most one.
Worked example
20 students split into 3 teams: two teams of 7 and one of 6.
