How to use it
Characters are chosen with the browser’s cryptographic random generator, with at least one of each type you select.
Entropy (bits) = length × log2(pool size)- Under 45 bits: weak.
- 45–65: fair.
- 65–90: strong.
- Over 90: very strong.
Crack time assumes an attacker trying 100 billion guesses per second.
Worked example
A 16-character password using all types (87 possible characters) has about 103 bits of entropy — over a trillion years to brute-force.
